The Neptune Room’s Annual Mothers Day Brunch: Sunday May 14th Offers Bountiful Brunch and Complimentary Family Photos
The Seafood Shack Marina, Bar & Grill in Cortez is hosting their 3rd annual Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet on Sunday May 14, 2016 with seating from 10am to 2pm. Families can indulge in a buffet-style brunch while enjoying the sparkling water views offered by The Seafood Shack’s 2nd floor banquet space, The Neptune Room.
The Mother’s Day Brunch features various buffet stations throughout the room featuring a casual menu of breakfast, salad, entrée and bakery items. Traditional favorites include Hickory-Smoked Bacon, Pork Breakfast Sausage links, Buttermilk Pancakes with 100% Pure Canadian Maple Syrup, and Ambrosia Fruit Salad while The Shack’s Executive Chef Gerard Jesse adds his own spin to dishes like, Southern Fried Chicken and Waffles, Ham Steaks glazed with Shack Honey and Zesty Italian Pasta Salad. Seafood lovers will enjoy Gulf Shrimp Alfredo, Linguine with Cream White Clam Sauce, Snow Crab Legs with Drawn Butter and a popular House-Cured and Smoked Salmon Cheese Cream Spread with Bagels. Guests can also make an omelet just the way they like it by visiting the Chef-manned Made-To-Order Omelet Station. To top it all off, a selection of Bakery items will include house made cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit turnovers, mini key lime tarts, and beignets with powdered sugar.
Back by popular demand is Mark Sickles, a professional photographer, who will also be available to take complimentary family portraits at the Brunch. Additionally, guests can choose to take part in a social media contest with a prize valued at $100.
The Brunch Buffet is $34.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages 5 to 12. Tax and gratuities are extra. Children 4 and under eat free with a paying adult. Alcoholic drinks and other beverages, including soda and juices, are not included. Advance reservations are required by calling 941.794.1235.
Meanwhile, The Bar & Grill on the first floor of The Seafood Shack will be open and welcoming guests all day for lunch and dinner on May 14 with regular hours of operation (11am to 9pm) and their daily menu.
