Sarasota Lionfish Derby – Chefs’ Tasting Competition

Mote Marine Laboratory is hosting the 4th annual Sarasota Lionfish Derby
and you are invited!
The public is invited to join Mote Scientists, Derby Participants and Local Guest Chefs at the Weigh-In on Sunday July 9 for educational dissections and lionfish tastings. Tasting Tickets are $10 with a maximum of 175 tickets being sold for this competitive tasting event. In addition to Seafood Shack Chef Gerard Jesse, participating chefs/restaurants include Michael’s on East, The Beach House, Mattison’s and Indigenous.
