OBSERVING WORLD OCEANS DAY Sustainable Seafood Tapas Plate Offered June 8-10

June 8 is World Oceans Day, an annual observation to honor, help protect, and conserve the world’s oceans. We’re partners with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to make sure all our seafood is recommended by their Seafood Watch program and supports healthy fish populations and smart fishing methods.

To celebrate World Oceans Day, Chef Gerard Jesse has created a Mixed Tapas Plate for Two featuring a global selection of green Best Choice sustainable seafoods. The World Oceans Day tapas plate includes Gulf Shrimp and Blue Crab Croquettes with Creole Mustard, French Escargot with parsley, garlic and butter, Cajun-Style Boiled Louisiana Crawfish, Smoked New Zealand Green Lip Mussels and Gulf Mahi Mahi Fish Spread.

The Tapas Plate is $15 and is available Friday-Sunday, June 8-10.

Seafood Watch is best known for developing science-based seafood recommendations that consumers, chefs, and business professionals use to inform their seafood purchasing decisions. Green “Best Choice” seafoods are well-managed and caught or farmed in ways that cause little harm to habitats or other wildlife, supporting a healthy ocean environment.
