Mote Marina Laboratory in Sarasota is an industry leader in marine research and rehabilitation and ocean conservation. And during the month of July, The Seafood Shack is partnering with Seaglass Wine Company to provide support of this local gem. Sales of Seaglass’ featured wines can provide Mote – as it is known to the locals – with Turtle Rescue Kits, Animal “Adoptions” (sea turtle, shark, stingray, seahorse, manatee, otter or jellyfish) and Coral Reef rebuilding.
The Seafood Shack is proud to highlight Seaglass’ Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir varietals. Made of grapes sourced from prime California vineyards in Santa Barbara and Monterey, these high-quality, fresh, bright, flavorful wines offer a casual yet sophisticated take on the Central Coast’s growing region.
Sauvignon Blanc – This lively wine will awaken your senses with zesty citrus flavors and a refreshing finish. Clean and crisp, it’s perfect for summer sipping, and is extremely versatile with many dishes, especially seafood.
Pinot Noir – Captures the best of Santa Barbara’s unique terroir. Lip-smacking delicious cherry aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied and silky smooth. Pairs well with grilled chicken, shellfish, pasta, cheese and salads, but uncomplicated enough to be thoroughly enjoyable without food.
The Seaglass wines will be featured through the month of July for $7 a glass and $22 a bottle.
