Cortez, Florida, April 17, 2015 – The Seafood Shack Marina, Bar & Grill is hosting their first annual Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet on Sunday, May 10th. Families can treat their moms to a buffet-style brunch in The Seafood Shack’s stunning, newly renovated banquet space on the second level of the restaurant that has impeccable views of the Gulf Coast.
Guests can expect a variety of delicious options at the Brunch Buffet, such as a Salad Bar with fresh fruit and pasta salads, a Breakfast Station featuring several favorites from the new breakfast menu like eggs benedict and house-cured smoked salmon, a Warm Entree Station with poached cod and The Shack’s signature shrimp & grits, a Steamship Beef Carving Station and more. Guests can also make an omelet just the way they like it by visiting the Make-Your-Own Omelet Station.
In addition, there will be a selection of assorted pastries and a full bar offering Mimosas ($6) and The Seafood Shack’s Signature Bloody Mary ($6) as well as beer, wine and other drinks. A Children’s menu is also available and will offer kid-friendly meals such as mac n’ cheese, chicken n’ waffles and fish sticks.
The buffet is $21.95 for adults and $10.95 for children between the ages of 5-12. Tax and gratuities are extra. Children 4 and under eat free with a paying adult. Alcoholic drinks and other beverages, including soda and juices, are not included.
The Mother’s Day celebration at The Seafood Shack marks the official opening of the new banquet space. Recently renovated from top to bottom, the banquet space on the second floor of the restaurant offers some of the best views in Bradenton and Sarasota. With a casual, coastal elegance, it’s the perfect spot for any type of event.
Guests of the Brunch Buffet will be dining in The Neptune Room, which can fit large groups of up to 425 people for a cocktail style reception or 350 seated. The Mother’s Day celebration gives guests an ideal opportunity to check out The Seafood Shack’s other delicately-designed venues, including Hunters Point, which seats more intimate gatherings of 30-50 people.
