The Seafood Shack’s Brand New Banquet Space The Neptune Room & Hunter’s Point

We’ve recently announced the opening of our newly renovated banquet space and wanted to give you an overview of its offerings! The banquet space is on the second floor of The Seafood Shack Bar & Grill and offers two great venues that are ideal for weddings, business gatherings, charity events and more.

The Neptune Room
Size: 6,000 sq.ft.
Capacity: 425 max

As soon as you step foot on the second floor, you will be transported into a tropical paradise. An open foyer with ocean blue floors and wood-panelled walls lined with green palms and an array of antique furniture sets the tone for what’s to come. At the end of the foyer, your eyes will be drawn to a rustic, grand double door that reaches the ceiling, inviting you and your guests into where the party and celebrations will really set sail.

 

This 6,000 sq.ft. space overlooks the sparkling Intracoastal Waterway of Cortez and can hold 350 seated guests or 425 guests for a cocktail-style reception. Three walls of expansive windows offer panoramic views of Anna Maria Sound and its parade of boats, sightings of dolphins and other native wildlife, and perfect golden sunsets.

Hunter’s Point
Size: 600 sq.ft.
Capacity: 40 max

Off of the foyer you’ll find Hunter’s Point – a delicate room designed for more intimate gatherings of up to 40 people. At 600 sq.ft., Hunter’s Point makes an outstanding venue for private corporate events, boardroom meetings, family retreats and more.

 

Enjoy the bright, natural light from the oversized windows that offer views of the Cortez Drawbridge. Guests can also fix their eyes on the intricate décor – vintage fishing nets and knick knacks are hung tastefully throughout the room. The real crème de la crème is the wall of antique doors that make up the back wall of Hunter’s Point. It’s a charming and relaxing atmosphere that is sure to deliver a memorable time.

 

Weddings
Make your dreams come true, Old Florida style! With a long-standing tradition of hosting memorable weddings, The Neptune Room offers an idyllic setting for your Florida Gulf Coast wedding. Allow our expert staff to help you plan your special day! We take care of every detail, the only thing we overlook is the water. Here’s what your wedding at The Neptune Room includes

  • Unlimited access to Coquina Salon – a private meeting space for you to plan your wedding with our in-house Event Coordinator. On the day of your wedding, Coquina Salon doubles as a “behind-the-scenes” room for you to relax and prepare.
